The Gingerbread Boy - Learning with Others

On Friday after recess we invited Mrs. Atkinson and Mrs. Morrison's grade one classes into our classroom to take part in a google hang out with Mrs. Sarchet, and Mrs. Leech's classes.  Mrs. Sarchet introduced us to her class' Gingerbread boy, and we also met Mrs. Leech's class' too.  Then Mrs. Sarchet read us a version of the Gingerbread Boy story.

Here are some photos from our google hangout.  There is even a little movie of Mrs. Sarchet reading to all of us.

We hope to connect again next week with these classes and hopefully a few more grade one classes in our school district.  Mrs. Sarchet and Mrs. Leech will be sharing their adventures with their gingerbread men.  We can't wait to hear what they get up to.

  1. We loved connecting with your grade one classes. Mrs. Sarchet did an excellent job of reading the story and we were all engaged in it. Sullivan loves Google Hangout. We are excited to see where our gingerbread men will go and what adventures they will go on. We are looking for more gingerbread boy stories. Does Div. 18 have a favourite gingerbread boy story?

    1. Thank you for your comment. We don't have a favourite gingerbread boy or girl story because we have several gingerbread stories we like. We made our own gingerbread girls and boys. From Division 18
