We Took the Snow Clothing Challenge!

Mrs. Cassidy's class in Moose Jaw Saskatchewan has challenged people to see how fast they can put on their snow clothing.  Ms. Lirenman saw her challenge but since we don't get snow too often we really couldn't do the challenge.  But today we had snow and so we could finally take the challenge.

Take a look at how we did.  Not bad for some children who don't get to see snow too often!

  1. Love this idea Ms Lirenman and Mrs Cassidy. Great encouragement and lucky to have such great snow gear! I wonder how long it takes them to get out of the wet snow gear! Maybe that will be for episode two tomorrow-before the rain washes it all away! Take some pictures of your snowmen to share!

    1. We are pretty fast at getting our wet snow clothing off although Ms. Lirenman thinks we could be faster. We have to do the snow dance before we can even come into our classroom from outside.

  2. WOW! You were very fast and I loved hearing you compliment each other as you were getting your snow clothes on. What did you do when you got outside? Check our blog to see how we spent our morning challenge in the snow. What s your favourite thing to do in the snow?

    1. Thank you. Some of us like to build snow forts, some of us like to build snowmen, some of us like to catch snowflakes on our tongues, and some of us like to make snow angels.

  3. You did a good job with not much practice. We have to put on our snow clothes five times every day so we are pretty fast. We wonder if your snow melted?

  4. Thank you Mrs. Cassidy's class. We don't get nearly as much practice as you do. Our snow has only melted a little bit but we still need our snow clothing. The weather man says the snow maybe here for a few more days. It might even snow again on Thursday.
