Patterns, Patterns and More Patterns PLUS the iPods are HERE!

Today we started our first day of  patterning stations.  Ms. Lirenman has created seven different stations for us, each open for us to explore patterning and show her what we know.  Today some of us copied patterns, some of us continued patterns, some of us created patterns, and some of us created and copied patterns.  It's only our first day at the stations but so far they are a lot of fun.

This afternoon Ms. Lirenman brought out the iPod Touches again.  In case you haven't heard Ms. Lirenman borrowed a class set of Ipods from our school district.  We have them for three weeks and we are so excited to use them.  Last week some of us read into them and then we listened to our reading to see what we are doing well and what we can improve on.  Today we played around on the iPods again trying out some new apps for learning. . It was fun to work on/with them.  Ms. Lirenman tells us she has a lot more exciting things for us to do with them but we also have to make share we share them with the rest of the school.

What do you do with your iPod?

  1. Hi everyone!

I watched these videos early this week and loved watching all of you explore the ipods and doing your pattern stations. Grade 1 is so much fun!
