Inspired by Barbara Reid

Last week we were fortunate to work in the library on special Barabra Reid projects.  Ms. Gullmant-Smith shared some videos from Barbara Reid and  we learned about some of the  techniques she used to create her illustrations. Here are some of us in action.

Painting with Mrs. Schaeffer

A couple of weeks ago Mrs. Schaeffer came to teach us how to paint Lilacs.  Mrs. Schaeffer used to work at Ms. Lirenman's previous school but she's retired now.  She loves teaching children art though and we were lucky to be taught by her. Take a look at the process we went through.   We are very thankful for Mrs. Schaeffer's visit.

A Day at the Beach
