Canadian Symbols

We have been playing with green screen technology with iMovie on Ms. L's laptop.  We used this technology to teach you a little bit about some of the things we feel are symbols of Canada.  Enjoy.

Skyping with Skype

Today we skyped with Charlotte at Skype. We asked her many questions and she answered them.  Then she took as on a tour of her office.  Did you know it doesn't have very many walls.  We even went on the roof of the building.  Thank you Charlotte for skyping with us.  We love learning with Skype.

Community Read

Today is one of our last community reads of the year. Thankfully they are just as successful as always.

Playing with PuppetPals

Today Ms. Lirenman showed us a new app called PuppetPals. Before we could use the app we had to come up with our own story ideas. Here are some of our planning boards.  Stay tuned for our real story telling using the PuppetPals app.

Free Writing

Today between recess and lunch we were all so engaged in our writing that we wrote right through math.  Some of us are very interested in Pokemon cards and wanted to make our own comics with them.  Ms. L showed some of us the Comic Life app.  Here we are busy creating with the app.

Some of us love to write with felts. Here are some of us doing that instead.

We love writing and we are so glad we had extra time for writing today.  We probably could have written all day long.

A Beautiful Day to Read with Our Big Buddies Outside

What We Have Learned About Plants
