Lunar New Year

Today is Chinese New Year.  Many of us wore the colour red to school in honour of the celebration.  In the afternoon we learned a bit more about the Chinese New Year including which animal year we were born in.  We also had a special sheep craft that was prepared by our wonderful parent group. We were also really lucky to have a Chinese Lion Dance performance in our gym.  We ended the day with special lucky money in red envelopes, which happened to be a chocolate coin.
