Right now we are involved with the Global Read Aloud. We are reading the same books as other children around the world. We are also co-creating with other children, leaving comments on their blogs, and video conferencing with different classes. Some of the classes that we are working with (or will be working with) have been sharing videos or slide shows of themselves so Ms. Lirenman thought it was time we shared a little bit about ourselves. Here is the Haiku Deck she created with some of the photos she's taken these past five weeks. Enjoy, and hopefully it will help you get to know a little bit more about us.
"Childhood is not a race to see how quickly a child can read, write and count. It is a small window of time to learn and develop at the pace that is right for each individual child. Earlier is not better" Magda Gerber

Dear Ms. Lirenman's class,
ReplyDeleteHello from sunny California! We loved reading about your class. Our favorite thing was seeing the pictures. We noticed that you have connecting cubes. We also have connecting cubes. It is one of our favorite activities. We wonder if the whole class has iPads. We wonder why you use headphones with your iPad.
We can't wait to talk with you again soon. Have a great day!
Your Friends,
