After recess we worked on Chinese New Year Banners with the Chinese Numbers 1-10. We also played with Augmented Reality again with a really cool colouring page. On Friday our plan is to dress in Chinese clothing, red or gold, or wear something with a horse on it. Here are some photos from our day.
"Childhood is not a race to see how quickly a child can read, write and count. It is a small window of time to learn and develop at the pace that is right for each individual child. Earlier is not better" Magda Gerber

Hi Ms. L's Class!
ReplyDeleteOne of our students is going to share about Chinese New Year tomorrow. We will be sure to post about what we do on our blog too! We like your Chinese New Year banners and may have to borrow your idea!

ReplyDeleteHello Grade One! I am teaching a group of college students in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA. My students are studying to become teachers, just like Ms. Lirenman. We are creating our own blogs and webpages and we are finding lots of inspiration on your blog! It looks like you have a lot of fun learning in your classroom. Thanks for sharing! We can't wait to read more!
