20,000 Blog Visits!!!

Can you believe it, our class blog has had over 20,000 blog visits this year.  Never in a million years did Ms. Lirenman think that that many people would visit our pages. Now, the number 20,000 does not mean that we've had 20,000 different people visiting because we are very certain that we've had many visitors return to check out what we've been up to.  In any case we are so thankful to be able to share our learning with you and we are even more thankful that you took the time to come and visit.

So now, are you curious to know where our visitors  have come from?

The largest group of visitors to our blog has come from Canada. We guess that doesn't surprise anyone because we live in Canada.  What may surprise you is that we've had a lot of international visitors too.  Here are the countries that our visitors most frequently come from over the lifetime of this blog:  United States, Australia, United Kingdom, Russia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, New Zealand, Japan, and Germany. In addition in the last month we've had visitors from Kuwait, Thailand, Ireland, and the Philippines too.  We've had visitors from other countries as well but the nature of the stats on the blog don't allow us that information as we only get the top ten.

But what are they visiting?  Of our 184 blog posts here are our top five most visited ones. Please note that the top three can be quite interchangeable as they have had almost the same number of visits - over 200 each.

In addition to our blog posts we also have a fair bit of traffic visiting our blog pages (those tabs at the top of the page).  Our most frequently visited tabs are About Division 16, Word Wall Words, and Visitor Etiquette - How To Be Safe on Our Blog.  These three tabs have had between 400 - 550 visitors each.

We've also received a lot of comments, almost 240, and we'd love to receive more.  We've had 9 voice messages too.

So  yes, you could say that our class blog has been quite a success this year.  Now the question to you, our loyal readers, what can we do next year to make it even better? We'd love to hear your feedback.

I'm a Grade 3 teacher from Cambridge, Ontario and I'm very impressed with your class blog. So many great learning experiences! I'm going to be teaching Grade 1 next year, so I hope you don't mind if I borrow some of your great ideas for my new class. :)

Congratulations again and enjoy the last few days of school!
