Today while Ms. Lirenman and Ms. Will were at a special reading workshop we worked with Ms. Betts and explored the Draw and Tell App on the iPad. We've used this app before but we usually use it to draw with not to write with. Today we used it to write about what we liked about the story and the movie Frog and Toad by Arnold Lobel. Ms. Lirenman has a million ideas in her head of ways that she can use this App to help us with our learning. While we only have 3.5 weeks of school left we feel pretty confident that we will be using it some more in the future.

I love Frog and Toad and I love this App you have on your i-pad. Ms. Lirenman is very clever to have you record your writing and reading. Enjoy the last few weeks of your year!

ReplyDeleteWhat is your daughter's name? From Paul Can your daughter read the book by herself or do you read it with her? We liked the book and the movie. From Division 16
ReplyDeleteHer name is Addie. She can't read the book by herself so I read it for her. However, she tries real hard to find letters she knows and she is getting good at finding some words too, like "Frog" and "Toad" and the word "No" :)
DeleteHi Division 16,
ReplyDeleteI like the Frog and Toad books, too! They always have great lessons about friendship in them.
Love,
Mrs. Morrison
