Thanksgiving Sharing Feast

Today we had our Thanksgiving sharing feast with all the primary children (K-3) in our school  We all met in the gym where we shared class poems and songs with each another.  We also danced the  Turkey Pokey, and sang Thanks-a-Lot by Raffi.  Then we ate our lunches on our special place mats.



We are thankful that many parents were able to join us this morning but we realize many had to be at work.  For those families that weren't able to join us Ms. Lirenman has made this little video for you to enjoy.


If you're from the USA and you are reading this blog post you're probably a bit confused.  Why would you be celebrating Thanksgiving now?  Because in Canada THIS weekend is Thanksgiving.
